I had some lovely blue scraps, so I made another flag. 1 inch hexies this time, so it’s small, 50 inches wide. Now I’m wondering about going even smaller for another one…. 🇬🇧
I had such fun with #mqgswap last year - I’ve signed up again! #mqgswap2022
I cut into some of my favourite fabrics to make another #plaidishquilt . I really don’t like the blocks on their own, but absolutely love them when they’re stitched together! Fabulous (and free) pattern by @kitchentablequilting
Final day of #greatbritishquilter and I think my favourite quilt is the first one I made, from Hexagogo by Tacha Bruecher. I recently went back to it to add a lot more quilting - I didn’t know how to when I made it! Thank you to @sarahashfordstudio and @sweetcinnamonroses for organising such a lovely week 🥰
Day 6 my favourite notions are my Kay Buckley scissors (the serrated blades make for accurate cutting) and magnetic beech block from @beyond_measure_uk , which is always a pleasure to use #greatbritishquilter @sarahashfordstudio @sweetcinnamonroses
Day 5 My favourite quick make is an ombré stripe mini quilt. I’ve made 6 or 7 of these as gifts for Hetty’s puppy pals. The are wonderful stash busters, and I just love putting the colours together.
