Day 32/💯 I was going to take Hetty for a walk and plan my next textile map. But the rain is pouring down so it’s Google maps instead! I don’t do much sketching before starting, but I like to plan how the map will fit onto a rectangle of fabric. #100daysoftextilemaps #the100dayproject
Day 31/💯 gathering supplies for #allotmentsowalong - aiming not to buy any thread as I have quite a stash! Thank you to @tuppencehapennyquilts for organising, beautiful pattern by @sewnbycollettekinley #100daysoftextilemaps #the100dayproject
Day 30/💯 temperature quilt update! This is up until the end of February, and big enough to hang on the rose arch 🌹Maybe I’ll be able to add some yellow soon🌞#100daysoftextilemaps #the100dayproject #temperaturequilt #temperaturequilt2021
Day 29/💯 stitching in the garden for the first time this year - what a treat! #100daysoftextilemaps #the100dayproject #temperaturequilt
Day 28/💯I have finished my map! I am so happy with it, and already planning my next one 😀This came from a beautiful three day course organised by @themakerie. Thank you to everyone involved for the inspiration, it was amazing💙 #100daysoftextilemaps #the100dayproject #the100dayproject2021 #themakerie
Day 27/💯 adding chained feather stitch to the margins of my map. I’m using the Alabama Chain embroidery book templates to mark the pattern. Sometimes precision is the thing! #100daysoftextilemaps #the100dayproject #alabamachanin #thegeometryofhandsewing
